Cox Gives up on Building 3G Mobile Technology Netowrks; 4G and LTE too Strong

Cox Communications planned to use 3G mobile technology, but with AT&T launching much faster LTE services in 5 cities, it has abandoned plans for 3G mobile technology. Verizon has also extended its 4G offerings to midsize markets, and in a situation like this 3G mobile technology doesn't seem like a good investment to Cox.
Sprint, the third large cell company that seems to be lagging behind its two competitors, will provide 3G mobile technology and CDMA services to Cox. While quicker and more advanced 4G and LTE technologies are performing well, smaller companies like Cox that cannot access these technologies nor invest heavily for building their own 3G networks, will have to depend on whole sellers like Sprint for 3G mobile technology.
