Wireless And Mobile LTE Device Review

The biggest selling point for the HTC Thunderbolt mobile device is wireless LTE on the 700MHz frequency. There has been a lot of buzz about how fast the speeds on this network are, and these claims are all true.
Creating a wireless hotspot inside an LTE network allows you to share this blazing fast speed with up to eight devices, so you could stream Netflix on three separate computers and still be able to use the phone to surf the web with almost no difference in performance. This gives credence to the idea that an LTE hotspot could be your next broadband connection. The LTE radio in the Thunderbolt allows the phone to access voice and data simultaneously on Verizon Wireless, and delivers a great experience as long as you are inside an LTE area. However, the battery life on this device borders on abysmal, and there is no easy way to disable LTE on this device like you can on the EVO 4G.
